hey vogueized!
thanks for ur q. while i agree with some of the things that cameron russell mentioned in a recent ted talk about being a lucky recipient of great genes, aside from bone structure and beautiful skin, most of these girls work pretty darn hard at staying in shape. diet and proper nutrition also plays a HUGE role.
some of the girls, like marisa and alessandra, are super active and enjoy sports like surfing and brazilian martial arts to stay in shape. hilary rhoda is a great tennis player. other models spend time doing yoga, pilates (izabel goulart), running (miranda kerr), or different variations of high-impact training to build lean muscle. if you do a google search for “model workout plans” there’s no shortage of listings with some great advice and workout plans.
diet, as i mentioned earlier, is also key. lindsay ellingson sticks to organic foods and juicing. some models are strict vegans, while others eat carbs in moderation and occasionally splurge on a cupcake or slice of pizza every once in a while. the “abs diet” by david zinczenko is an amazing book filled with all kinds of great recipes and really valuable information about the fundamental super-food building blocks. it’s a must read!

lastly, there’s no shortage of mobile apps out there for both android and iOS that you can use in tandem with the aforementioned to support your workout plan.
calorie counter - input or scan the food that you’ve eaten and it calculates and keeps track of the calories.
fitness buddy - over 1,000 different exercises tailored to your goals.
moves - if you don’t use a nike fuel band, this app will track all of your activity throughout the day without any additional gadgets.
i can tell you, based on my own experience, that setting goals and finding a program that you really enjoy is key. if you enjoy the program you will be more apt to stick with it and make it part of your daily routine. i hope that helps.
good luck,
- b
